Email Address

When you first register with us, we ask for your email address. Your email address is used to communicate important information about your account, such as payments due or to reset your password. In addition, if you have chosen to remain part of our mailing list, we send you our newsletter, and/or offers and promotions from ourselves or our carefully selected partners about products or services that are relevant to you. At the end of our newsletters or offers, we always provide you with the opportunity to remove yourself from our mailing list.

If you choose to become a member of one of our vendor’s sites, you are agreeing to disclose your email address to that BEV24 vendor, referred to from now on as a site operator. Through BEV24, a site operator can choose to mail individual members, groups of members or the entire membership of the site. When you join a site operator’s site and submit your email address, it is entirely at your own responsibility and BEV24 is in no way liable for the disclosure of this information. Personal Information, Browser Details and Login Times

Should you choose to purchase with BEV24, we or may ask you some additional personal questions required for delivery of the products and payment purposes. We also collect data about your browser, login times and IP addresses when you visit BEV24, as part of our traffic statistics service. This information is only used in aggregated form – no user is individually identifiable from the data we disclose. It is used by us to understand our customers better and to ensure we focus our development on satisfying the needs of our users. 

Credit/Debit Card Details, Billing Address and Payment History

Cheques and EFTs orders are handled via our bank. When you pay you are asked for your billing details and address. Billing information is kept safe and may be used to assist with customer service enquiries. Under no circumstances are these details disclosed to any third parties. We do not store credit card numbers or security details. 

Customer Service Correspondence

We offer an email support service to our customers and partners. You will be sending a query from an email address that we will use to correspond with you to resolve your case. This information and any correspondence between you and our customer service team are kept entirely confidential and are not disclosed to any third parties. 

Police Investigation

Any of the information collected by us may be disclosed to the authorities as part of any investigations into any illegal activities that may take place on the BEV24 service, as governed by SA law. 

What About Cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer. Only the information that you provide, or the choices you make while visiting a Web site, can be stored in a cookie. Allowing a Web site to create a cookie does not give that or any other site access to the rest of your computer, and only the site that created the cookie can read it. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information, but they do allow us to remember your login details and therefore offer you a personalized service without you having to log in on every visit.
